Stellenbosch is one of the loveliest towns in the whole of South Africa. Situated at the head of the Eerste (First) River Valley, the area is full of charismatic scenes and rich in history. The architecture is mainly Cape-Dutch style but each generation over the last three centuries has added a variety of other buildings and a drive through the picturesque streets will present many fine examples of the meticulously restored buildings amongst more modern structures.
