Cape Winelands Tour
Private Tour: Enquire for RatesEmbark on a breathtaking journey through the vineyards of the Cape. Visit the historical towns of Stellenbosch, Franschhoek & Paarl.
This pleasant drive winds its way through the Cape Winelands. Marvel at the imposing mountain ranges and absorb the tranquillity of vineyards and Cape Dutch homesteads.
Head to Stellenbosch. It is easy to understand why Simon van der Stel decided to establish a village in this picturesque setting. The backdrop of the Hottentots Holland Mountains, the white gabled Cape Dutch homesteads and the oak lined streets and lanes all blend in to create a charm that will not be forgotten.
Continue over the Helshoogte Mountain Pass toward the town of Franschhoek burrowed amongst the mountains, which can easily be mistaken for a Swiss town. Home to numerous accolade wine estates, you will have time to walk through the town and soak up the atmosphere of rural sophistication.
The tour continues toward the small town of Paarl where we will stop for a quick photo session at the Groot Drakenstein Prison (formerly Victor Verster) where Nelson Mandela was released in 1990.
